In addition to making me happy, it’s a reminder that life is short, so you might as well enjoy it. I read an interview with one of my favourite bloggers and I was struck at how she answered one of the interviewer’s questions: “Do you only wear neutrals?” I was anxious to read her answer as her Instagram feed is an extremely carefully curated collection of blush pink, grey, white and beige pictures. “Yes. Only neutrals. Sometimes, I desperately want to wear a fabulous red dress, but it goes against my aesthetic.”
How sad! Imagine…that is what the life of the influencer has become. A carefully curated collection of neutral shades to please the masses. Like I said, life is too short and I have discovered of myself over the past year and a half that my life is more “rainbow” than it is 50 Shades of Neutrals. Well…I’m rebelling against the neutral trend with my little yellow dress! Side note: my obsession with colour includes neutrals. I love myself a blush pink!
