I’m at a loss around this time of year – at a loss for how to dress. The mornings are so cold, you just want to bundle up in that Canada Goose jacket knowing that it will soon be its turn to be worn daily. By lunch time, it’s a balmy 26C and you’re sweating through your layers.
What is one to do?
Well, I reach for my loose knits in light, fun colours. Remember me telling you that I never wear baby blue despite loving it? Since that post, I’ve shopped a blue streak and developed a blue crush. Yes – I’m looking for ways to use the word “blue” as much as humanly possible in once sentence.
This very schizophrenic weather took place over the weekend, so I paired my RomWe loose knit, cropped sweater with my vintage Levi’s cut-offs to run some errands. It was the perfect mix for warding off the slight chill in the air without sweating to death. Some other pretty options are listed here, here and here.
I’ve put this cute, little blue sweater (it’s so soft!) to good use over the past few weeks too, pairing it with shorts, white jeans or even tying it around my neck over a white button down, 80s teen-movie-villain style…à la “James Spader”, circa Pretty In Pink.
