Well, August is here and summer is still sizzling…which is great because there are way too many adorable summer outfits to rock before those leaves start changing colour. The best thing about August, other than my little sister’s impending birthday, lazy summer days spent floating in the pool and pitchers of sangria, are the end of season sales.
I’m finding this summer’s sales to be INCREDIBLE. Maybe it’s all the great 2016 trends like off-the-shoulder shirts, pompom shoes, amazing trainers and more reflective sunnies than we know what to do with, but whatever it is, I’m loving it and totally taking advantage.
Here is a selection of my wants and needs for August…some of which I’ve already ordered up!

After seeing one of my favourite bloggers rocking these adorable Miu-Miu lace-up ballet flats, I decided that they MUST be put on the need list:
I wore the lovely Lotus Peace Petals Bracelet and Nile Beaded Bangle from Alex and Ani to my sister-in-law’s wedding and they complemented my outfit perfectly. I’m going to treat myself to a few more Nile Beaded Bangles for maximum stickability!
I have been dreaming about this Club Monaco Lutecia Dress since I tried it on last week during my trip to Toronto. It would be perfect for work and just glam enough for drinks with the girls:
