This weekend’s weather was more “end of school” than “beginning of school”, and for that I’m thankful. As I look past the dried corn, hay stacks and billions of pumpkins popping up at local farmers markets, I clutch on to summer like Donald Trump clutches onto his cotton candy-like hair during a windy day.

A solar-powered sun worshipper, these late summer days make my heart sing. It gives me a chance to throw on cute little summer things and forget about pulling out the light sweaters and packing away the bikinis. This extra little bit of procrastination is extra important to this Canadian…I know better than anyone that our winters are LONG…COLD…LONG and COLD.
When my friends asked us to join them on a sunny patio downtown yesterday afternoon, I grabbed this cute little romper from SheIn, strapped on my little Zara ballet flats (OBSESSED), grabbed the Darling Husband and rushed to meet them.
The romper elicited a ton of “oohs and ahhs” – music to my ears. Its little ruffled hems, drawstring waist accentuating curves and ultra-feminine off-the-shoulder silhouette is very right now… and I felt comfortable and chic while downing September sangrias.
