One Furry Little Way To Elevate Your Pre-Spring Look + GIVEAWAY!

So, I think it’s pretty safe to say that if you spot me out and about in the city, it’s because the weather is warm (ish). I’m very prone to hibernation during the months from October to March. Wow – that is very sad and long when you actually “see it on paper”. Cold conditions make me cry, make me mad, make me long for those days when I enjoyed pristine Barbadian beaches or took in the sights in warm and wonderful Barcelona.

Recently, upon a visit to Pat Flesher Furs on a snowy evening, I was inspired. I was inspired to get my butt out of my warm and cozy house, and enjoy these last days of winter before Ottawa blossoms into spring.

On the last day of Winterlude, my husband and I decided to go check out the amazing ice sculptures at Confederation Park and see the crowds skating on the canal. We ended the day with a little shopping and London Fog lattes at a favourite café.

Pat Flesher Furs inspired me to take my leather and fox fur-trimmed jacket out of storage and show it off downtown. I traded my black shearling boots for some new suede heels from L’Intervalle and teetered around the cobblestone paths in the market. The one thing that elevated this whole look was the fox-fur pompom charm gifted to me by Pat Flesher Furs. I hooked it onto my little bag and its vibrant colours pulled this whole sexy look together.
