So, Moose Knuckles makes my dream winter coat. She goes by the name, “Saskatchewan”. Sigh. I’ve been after her for about two winters now…her plush downiness and luxe, streamlined look always a tad out of reach.
This is my fault though. It’s not easy to find a super warm and stylish winter coat…especially one that will keep you warm in the seventh coldest city in the world (damn you, Ottawa!!). Everyone knows this too, and smart shoppers ordered their Moose Knuckles coats early! Thankfully though, she’s in stock and ready to be purchased right now…my heart swelling!
Why Am I Obsessed With Saskatchewan? She’s A Looker
Well, picture “Saskatchewan” – a sleek, knee length down-filled parka. Of all the colours she’s offered in, black is my favourite. In the black colour, the Saskatchewan Parka is that much more streamlined and fitted than other parkas out there, making you look more “stylish survivor of winter” than “Hi! I’m an Arctic Explorer”!
The hood is trimmed in soft, white fox fur and the cuteness factor was levelled up with its adorable pompoms. Obsessed!
Fantasizing About Moose Knuckles
I always knew Moose Knuckles was top of the line also. Producing coats since 1921, their offerings are high-quality.
It floored me to actually find a winter coat this gorgeous. And that’s so me. I get my heart set on something and then start dreaming up fun scenarios on where I can wear my dream piece.
“I’d look so cute in Saskatchewan walking to the grocery store”!
“Visiting the Christmas market in my new coat? Insta-worthy!”
“I should really pickup snowboarding…you know, so I can wear my Latreille Bomber more – lol.”
The more I think about it, the more pieces I want! Seriously – the styling is on point! And the colourful fur featured on some of the coats? Dreamy. And let’s not forget the snuggly Moosetribe Sweater and Rocker Jenny Plaid Shirt. Total needs this winter.
Oh yeah! Check out the mind-blowing Vanier Jacket, a military-inspired piece with red and black striped mink and fox fur detail. It seriously looks straight off the runway (this is a close second on my Moose Knuckles wishlist).
So, what do you think? After talking with my friends, we all agree that winter wear can use a little help. For once, I want to look damn good AND warm while waiting outside in January…wondering where the bus is. FML.
What’s your fave Moose Knuckles style?
