Have you ever found a clothing brand that seemed like it was made for you? I have. It’s Ted Baker.

I remember my first trip to Vegas a few years ago, my good friend Jen and I shopping happily at Caesar’s Palace. Ted Baker London came into view and Jen stopped and asked if I had ever bought anything there. I admitted to her that I had never even heard of it. She grabbed me by the hand and ushered me through the threshold of this flowery, whimsical wonderland and I was sold. Thanks, Jen!

Every year thereafter during trips to Vegas, I would STOCK UP. I absolutely loved everything about Ted Baker: the truly perfect fit (clothes so well constructed, my dresses fit like they are custom made), the extreme femininity, his signature florals that adorn almost everything, and the colour palette of blush pinks, hot pinks, lavenders, bright purples, pale blues, mints and creams that are so “Dominique”, I can’t help but go a little nuts during each visit
Well, the Fashion Gods heard my prayers and finally, a freestanding Ted Baker London store opened up in Rideau Centre! I no longer have to wait for the annual trips to Vegas or stare at the Ted Baker website and cry silently because the most coveted styles are sold out.
Words truly cannot describe how thrilled I was to see my invitation in my inbox from the British High Commission inviting me to the store opening. When I stopped cheering and pumping my fist at my desk, I mentally put together my finest Ted Baker outfit and started calculating how much I was going to buy on opening night.
Here are some pics from the grand opening, highlighting some of my favourite blogger friends who also joined me!

…and that wraps up my coverage of the Ted Baker London grand opening! Anxiously awaiting my next visit!
Cheerio!

That’s right, Shannon. You aren’t going to love me, so I’ll keep loving myself, being happy and spreading positivity. Let me know if you would like to meet up one day so I can give you a big hug. Love, peace and light! xoxoxo
Loving your blog, beautiful and gorgeous person with a fun personality and flawless skin. Loved your magazine spread as well. It’s only a matter of time before you have your own beauty TV show.
Also love, love that black and pink floral skirt on your Instagram. Is that a Ted Baker creation? Gorgeous!
Keep up the great work.

Thanks so much, Dannie! I love Loft too! Unfortuantely, there isn’t a store in my city, but I load up when I go to the States. Love their “mothership” store Ann Taylor too… xo
