A Very Leaves Of Trees Christmas

Well, it’s officially five more days until Christmas and I’m scrambling to get everything done. I’m almost there with most of my gifts purchased and baking underway, but I was stumped for stocking stuffers. What to get my super cool beauty-loving sisters? What to get the naturalista sister who loves cruelty-free, high-quality skincare? Leaves of Trees goodies, of course!

My Mum is Queen Of The Stocking Stuffers. Ever since we were little, she would load our stockings with awesome stuff, from Lip Smackers to cute little toys and candy. I’m continuing that tradition with a little twist.

Like I said, my sisters are really cool. They are gorgeous trend-setters who keep up with their beauty. We really have fun getting each other gifts too. Magazines, cosmetics, jewelry, pet products, gag gifts…you name it, we’ve gifted each other with it.

This year, I’m gifting my sisters and Mum with treats from Leaves of Trees. I love the philosophy of this all-natural, luxury beauty company. Making everything with top-quality ingredients in small batches, Leaves of Trees is committed to kindness by sourcing all of their ingredients from fair trade sources. From the sexy, woodsy-scented Chajara to the highly effective Moroccan Mint Lip Balm, this company offers something for everyone.

So, here are a few of my favourite Leaves of Trees products that I’m considering for the stockings (don’t want to give away too much of the surprise – lol):

Chajara Hand And Body Lotion

This is, hands down, my FAVOURITE Leaves of Trees product that I’ve tried so far. This lotion has all of the typical Leaves of Trees traits – very luxe consistency, highly moisturizing and made with 100% pure, cold-pressed by hand, certified organic and ethically-sourced Argan Oil.

The Argan Oil just so happens to be sourced from a women’s cooperative in Morocco which in turn provides employment for these women leading to a better standard of life.

Chajara smells absolutely heavenly. I cannot get over it! I actually asked the company to consider creating a Chajara perfume! It smells sexy and complex with its woodsy top note (“Chajara” just so happens to mean “tree” in Arabic). Other notes you will find in the Chajara scent are petitgrain (extracted from the leaves and twigs of the bitter orange tree). You will also notice sweet orange, rose, sandalwood, oudh and a hint of patchouli. Totally obsessed.

Leaves of Trees states that “Chajara is arresting in a subtle way”. I agree 100%.

Boisé By KNM

Boisé by KNM is a lovely, all-natural and moisturizing deodorant offered by Leaves of Trees. It was also created in collaboration with one of my favourite Canadian designers, Kimberly Newport-Mimran of Pink Tartan (omgggg).

Boisé by KNM smells pretty lovely too with its notes of petitgrain, sandalwood, sweet orange, patchouli and oudh. Suitable for both men and women, its fragrance is bold and unique.

You’ll notice that Leaves of Trees deodorants come in tubes which makes it easy to control how much you would like to apply. Simply squeeze out a pea-sized amount and apply to your pits with the tips of your fingers once you are out of the shower.

Free of aluminum, Boisé by KNM is all-natural and won’t stain your fashion investments. Free to apply away and slip on your favourite black tank top…or super awesome ruffly white blouse.

Olive Argan Butter

This Olive Argan Butter has been my saving grace once the temperature plummeted here in frozen Ottawa. I’m prone to terrible hang nails and ragged cuticles during the winter months. Thanks to regular manicures and Leaves of Trees’ Olive Argan Butter, my hands look soft and supple instead of flat-out terrible.

Olive Argan Butter is also fantastic for giving your tired, dry feet a little TLC, along with dried out elbows. It’s pretty multi-purpose too, so feel free to use this thick butter on any dry spots.

Bonus: Olive oil contains some serious anti-oxidants like Vitamins A and E that are very good for our skin. This butter is fragrance-free too which is great for those who are a little sensitive. Perfect for babies and toddlers!

So, are you all ready for the Holidays? Get a great stocking stuffer that put a smile on your face? Let us know what it was!

I love to hoard skin care items, lol, so I think these make for great stocking stuffers. I actually did a post today about last-minute skin care and beauty gifts that would also make for great stocking stuffers. 4 days away!
