Lancôme’s Latest Highlighter Is A Work Of Art – Rose À Poudrer

When I opened up Lancôme’s stunning highlighter La Rose À Poudrer ($80 CAD), I stared at it in wonder. In a gilded box laid an open rose, its petals offering up a shimmering gold powder. “Woooow” I whispered, as I touched a delicate petal and stared at the fine shimmer on my fingertips.

Lancôme’s limited edition highlighter landed on my doorstep in mid-December, right in the midst of Christmas party after Chritmas party. And believe me, I put it to good use. The gold tone is completely flattering, taking your skin from “I haven’t seen the sun in months” to “Yeah – I just got back from St. Barth’s”.

My skin tone is medium deep, and this lovely highlighter complemented my skin perfectly – from highlighting browbones, to cheekbones to adding a touch of warmth and ssprakle to my decolleté. Simply swirl your highlighter brush over the fabric petals infused with the golden powder and apply wherever you want to look sunkissed.

I’ll admit, I stopped using it…not because I was disappointed with this beauty of a highlighter, but because it is too pretty to use up! Most of my girlfriends heads explode when they see it, wondering if they can still get their hands on this limited edition beauty (and they can – still available here).

Right now, La Rose À Poudrer sits proudly on my vanity, making me smile every day…and used only on the best of occasions.

Treat yo’self and nab one here before they disappear…you’re worth it!
