This Foundation Had A 17,000 Person-Long Waiting List

I think we can safely say that I’m a diehard Charlotte Tilbury fanatic. From the lipsticks to the skincare, this line is seriously good. Top that off with the fact that this British-brand caters so well to women of colour with its impressive shade range of foundations and powders.

Charlotte Tilbury’s Magic Foundation has always been a favourite with its great coverage and moisturizing qualities, but I was dying to try out the Airbrush Flawless Foundation. This recently released product has received so much hype, it had to be good. While reading various articles and reviews on this new foundation, I discovered that it had a waiting list of 17,000 people. You’d think Charlotte Tilbury was releasing her own custom iPhone, not a foundation.

A couple of weeks ago, I received a few bottles of the foundation to test out and it did not disappoint. Me receiving them was timely also as I wanted to switch up my foundations for fall and I wanted something a tad heavier and more moisturizing for the colder months. Airbrush Flawless Foundation delivered.

Coverage

This foundation is so pigmented that I only needed a little to achieve a flawless even look. It was so flawless, I looked like a glowy Snapchat filter. At $53 CAD, this is a great investment as a little goes a long way. The colour that suits me best is 14 Cool – a rich milk chocolate colour that I did not have to mix to achieve the perfect tone. Major bonus right there.

Consistency

Airbrush Flawless Foundation is smooth, creamy and applies very well.

Applying my foundation with a dense foundation brush gives me the best coverage, but you can also apply this hydrating foundation with your fingers, especially if you like a light touch, or are simply covering up minor problem areas.

You will notice that this foundation is so pigmented that you will need less concealer. I am a complete concealer devotee thanks to my allergy-caused dark circles, but this foundation covered them up so well that I ended up not needing it at all.

Other Magic Properties

Charlotte Tilbury’s Airbrush Flawless Foundation is sweat-proof, waterproof and and transfer-resistant. This last one is you’re like me and always getting makeup all over your clothes. Sigh.

As mentioned before, this foundation is quite moisturizing. I found in the past that moisturizing foundations can settle into fine lines and creases, but this foundation stays put. So much so, you’ll have to put a bit more effort into washing it off. I needed to use a good makeup remover and gel cleanser to remove all traces of this foundation.

Charlotte Tilbury has also developed a new technology called Replexium, which promises to reduce the appearance of wrinkles with eight straight weeks of use. This makes sense as this is definitely one of the most hydrating foundations I’ve tried.

In Conclusion…

This foundation delivered and is exactly what skin needs during the harsh winter months. My forehead is prone to dryness and I found a lot of foundations made it look even dryer.

Airbrush Flawless Foudation didn’t irritate my skin or make the dryness worse. It didn’t cause any breakouts either, which is the main thing I’m concerned with.

Those of you with dry skin will love this product. That being said, it is suitable for all skin types, including those with oily skin. This product was tested on both men and women, and I guarantee you will find your perfect match as the range features 44 different shades.

Were you lucky enough to get your hands on Airbrush Flawless Foundation? What did you think?

With 17,000 customers waiting, the prices are too good to be true. 😄😄. It’s the first time I hear of the brand, and I am glad that cosmetic firms are catering more and more for dark skins. Beautiful reviews and pictures.
