Eyeliner is definitely one of those makeup items I cannot live without, along with concealer, lipstick and blush. Yes – I have turned into my mother (don’t tell my husband). I have officially become one of those ladies who does not leave the house without her favourite makeup on.
A great eyeliner application opens up the eyes and makes you look awake…like you had a “Kardashian amount of sleep”. And in my opinion, a good cat-eye is the sexiest makeup look of them all. I’m a diehard fan.
When Annabelle Cosmetics debuted their NeoChic Graphic Collection of eyeliners, I was intrigued! The collection consisted of six different waterproof, ultra-black eyeliners which each provide a really unique and fun look! Of note, the Waterline Matte Kohl Eyeliners come in five different colours: lavender, mint, brown, blackest black and beige.
I received the complete set to test out and frankly, loved them all (including the award-winning Skinny Mascara). Seriously – check them out below and see what I’m fangirling about.
EyeInk Bubble
This is possibly my favourite of the set of eyeliners. With its bubble-shaped tip, you can create cute little dot patterns, curves and graphic lines easily (literally by connecting the dots).
EyeInk Tulip
The tulip-shaped applicator of this eyeliner makes it super easy to do dramatic, thick lines. Check out the gorgeous Jennifer Chiu’s (@chiutips) application!
EyeInk Sharpie
EyeInk Sharpie is your go-to eyeliner to create super sharp lines. Going for a really edgy look or totally dramatic cat-eye? This one is for you!
101 Eyeliner
This eyeliner is the easiest one to use, in my opinion. Its smaller size is ergonomic, therefore making application really easy. The felt-tip applicator is perfect for beginners too. Just give it a good shake, and you’re soon on your way to achieving your precise look!
Brushtip Eyeliner
While I find this easy to use, this sort of eyeliner is for those ready to move on from beginner to intermediate. The superfine brush tip allows you to create the most precise of cat-eyes, along with dramatic curves. Use this if you want super sharp points for your application!
Skinny Mascara
This mascara is awesome! Seriously! Annabelle Cosmetics wasn’t kidding when they named this mascara “Skinny”. It’s super slim applicator makes grabbing even the tiniest and shortest lashes possible.
I love this mascara particularly for my bottom lashes. It coats all of them evenly and makes them look a mile long. The formulation is really nice too. Not crusty of flaky at all – perfect for contact lens-wearers. This one is not waterproof too, therefore making removal a snap.

OMG. You and me both, Cheryl. I swear by Urban Decay’s Eyeshadow Primer Potion. So good! These are waterproof though. Haven’t had any issues with smudging, even with my oily eyelids!
