My Specter AQSTIX Waterproof Wireless Speaker pretty much made our beach day during our trip to Barbados. My family packed up a cooler full of drinks and snacks and headed to the gorgeous Miami Beach (that’s right – there are two Miami Beaches in the world) for a day of fun in the sun and surf.

Miami Beach is one of the first stops we always make during our visits to my homeland. Located on the southern coast of the island, its calm waters near 82°F and running into the surf is like running into bath water (which I love). This beach also features stunning sunset views which you can take in after a day of body surfing.
We decided to bring along my new AQSTIX Waterproof Wireless Speaker to test out its sound quality on the beach. We downloaded a bunch of beats by The Weeknd and some soca, dancehall and reggae and found a sunny spot to set up in the brilliant white sand that could double as icing sugar.
AQSTIX – AMAZING!
Well, this little unassuming speaker blew our minds!! The sound quality was huge and amazing! Crisp and clear, we bopped around to some Benni Benassi while we buried our poor cousin in the sand. We even took the speaker into the ocean to get our dance on while we cooled off! Thanks to the AQSTIX speaker’s super durable compression sealed shell, it functions perfectly even after being submerged in three feet of water. INSANE. It survived being splashed, dropped into the Caribbean Sea and being doused in rum punch. Oops.
My sister and I also took it along for a walk to nearby Enterprise Beach. It also worked beautifully despite being almost 50 feet away from my phone. This little speaker, coming in at only $129.95 was kicking the ass of my other wireless speaker that cost twice as much.
