This girl right here is not a fan of the chilly weather, but she’s trying to make the most of it. Admittedly, I love what fall brings: the stunning colours the trees turn during the autumn months and of course, fall fashion.
Fall is certainly the most cozy season, and 2018 has delighted us with some awesome trends! Animal print, emerald green, white booties, polka dots, etc. I personally love it all and thought I would indulge in a few of-the-moment pieces to shake up my slightly stale wardrobe.

What I’m Wearing
Coat – Zara (similar) | Snake Print Blouse – Zara | Jeans – Citizens of Humanity | Belt – Aritzia (no longer available) | Sunnies – Gucci | Earrings – Alexis Bittar (similar)
Animal print, I was particularly drawn too. Maybe it is all The Sopranos I’ve been watching lately, but I seriously wanted to get my “Carmela” on. She was influencing me heavily – a little homemade sausage farfalle here, a ton of gold jewelry there…and a whole lot of snakeprint everywhere. I popped into Zara which has apparently become my home away from home and picked up this cute little blouse after a particularly good episode. Spoiler alert: Furio revealing his feelings for Carmela…sigh. The romance!! But I digress…let’s talk about the coat…
Next to it was this stunning coat I have been obsessed with. The oversized cuffs, the menswear-inspired cut and that rich cognac colour appealed to “Classic Dom” so hard, that I had to make it mine. Thanks to its neutral-colouring, it pairs well with everything, so I have been getting a ton of wear out of it.

I knew this coat was a worthy buy when a co-worker showed up with the same one after I bought mine. Then my girlfriend bought it too. And let’s not forget the onslaught of comments this beautiful coat got on my Instagram which you can check out here.

Zara has been killing it lately with their outerwear and I’ll be heading back to buy a few more pieces. I’m currently on the hunt for a great plaid topcoat and maybe something ridiculously furry. My wardrobe could use a little bit more of a shakeup and there are so many great faux fur pieces out there right now.
In the meantime, I’ll continue enjoying this gem of a coat and wearing it every chance I get…which is easy as the mercury is plummeting fast. Maybe I’ll have to watch some more Sopranos for wardrobe inspiration. I’m thinking “Jersey tracksuit” next. I’m sure it will look great with a new pair of Balenciaga Triple S’s.
I am in love with your coat! It looks so warm and uber chic. The animal print top is hot and haute!

Hi Debbie! Thank you so much for your comment! You know, with your hair and colouring, both pieces would be bomb on you!
