What To Wear This Fall To Still Feel “Summer”

Frost. Changing leaves. Progressive darkness. Pumpkin spice lattes….all of these things are synonymous with things I hate about the cold fall.

Many of us are sun-worshipping summer babies that tend to shrivel up when fall rolls around. Hey – my therapist loves it. I line her pockets thanks to all the care she gives me for seasonal depressive disorder. I kid, I kid. *Sort of*

As it gets chillier, here is how you can stay warm and look cool, and still feel like the only problem in the world is weather to wear a one-piece or bikini to beach. SIGH.

Lighten Up Your Leather/Vegan Leather

A well-loved way to lighten up your fall look while staying warm is a great leather/vegan leather jacket. Pick a light colour to keep that summer vibe. A favourite jacket of mine that’s getting a lot of love right now is my Lamarque Biker Jacket in White.

Crop That Sweater

Cropped sweaters are every where right now in every colour under the sun. seeing that little sliver of tummy keeps things more July than January. Top them off with a great coat or chunky sweater.

Chunky Boots Make A Look

Got a summer dress that you aren’t ready to retire for the winter? Add boots. These caramel suede boots I have been adding to every outfit. They toughen up this summery dress and make it look more fall.

Love the blog post. Very timely. I am hopeless when it comes to putting together an outfit, so I appreciate the tips. That dress is amazing! Fall is my favorite time, but I live in a warm weather state…yet I love wool, tweed, sweaters, etc.

All of the outfits are definitely great! I’m so much of a summer girl although I do like the change of the season of the fall but the progress of darkness the pumpkins and the thought of the holidays being right around the corner, bugs me. I’m excited for the holiday season and quarantine to be honest lol 💜💙❤️

HAHA! I am super excited for Christmas. I bought Reese a stocking today. HAHAH! I wish the quarantine would end, frankly. I miss how it used to be – but glad to have learned some life lessons.
