Summer arrived exactly one week ago and I will be hitting the stores to pick up a few essentials. This season’s trends are winning ones and I’m excited to try out all of the off-the-shoulder shirts and dresses, button-front denim mini skirts and cute lace up flats I’m seeing every where. I have been dying for a little button/snap front A-line mini skirt. This one is ideal with its perfect wash and large pockets.
2. Jumpsuit – $19.99
Jumpsuits are still really big this season. This particular style is a rich navy (one of my favourite colours) and I love the flattering wide, cropped legs.
3. White Lacy Romper – $21.99
White lace is breezy and light for summer, so this lace-trimmed, gauzy romper couldn’t be more fitting for the hot weather. Even better? It’s off-the-shoulder – very on trend right now!
4. Blue Striped Off-The-Shoulder Blouse – $13.99
I am totally obsessed with this off-the-shoulder blue-striped blouse that Olivia Palermo is rocking. SheIn has an extremely similar version for much less! The blue-stripes are so light and pretty, it shows off the shoulders which is always great in my book, and SheIn’s version has slightly longer, tied sleeves – a beautiful detail.
5. Pleated Culottes – $18.99
I am all about culottes right now. Love this cute style in blush pink (one of Pantone’s colours of the year) and the light fabric is sure to keep you cool in the summer heat.
6. Green Flared Skirt – $12.99
This gorgeous skirt in bright emerald is sure to make a statement at a summer wedding, a night out with girlfriends, or pair it with a blazer for work. This one is totally ending up in my closet.
7. Tie-Dye Dress – $12.99
I love this little dress because it would be the perfect beach cover-up. It would also fit right in at a music festival. A real score at $12.99.
8. Pom Pom Gladiators – $35.99
These super fun pompom gladiators are EVERYWHERE this summer. I desperately want a pair! They are so, so fun and will be sure to lighten up any outfit!
9. Crossbody Purse – $29.99
An awesome alternative to the pricey Chloé Drew Bag, this perfect crossbody would compliment summery outfits in bright colours and neutrals alike. It’s also surprisingly roomy!
