When I opened the gift bag full of Lise Watier’s latest collection of makeup, I ooohed and ahhed. Seriously. The packaging is crazy gorgeous! And trust me, nothing makes me happier than pretty makeup.
This collection is slick, I tell ya. From the glossy black cases – some covered with black rhinestones – to the super gorgeous, clear 24K Glam Rouge A Lèvres, this collection is on point. Enough fangirling…let’s get this review started!
24K Glam Rouge A Lèvres
I starting this review with my favourite makeup acquisition this year – Lise Watier’s 24K Glam Rouge A Lèvres. It is soooo pretty, that I hesitate to use it! With its light pink clear formula, complete with pieces of gold leaf floating within the lipstick bullet, this lippie is a showstopper. Just gorgeous!
While clear, it gives the lips a healthy, slightly pink glow. A wonderful lip colour enhancer.
Smokey Nudes 12-Colour Eyeshadow Palette
The Smokey Nudes Eyeshadow Palette is a pretty collection of universally flattering shadows. I have been using this palette on the daily as the colours are so easy to wear.
The darker shades are perfect for smokey eyes also, with the navy blue and deep purple being my favourites (especially gorgeous on brown and hazel eyes).
These eyeshadows are high quality with their rich pigmentation, finely milled powders (very blendable) and colour pay-off. This girl right here has pretty oily skin, so eyeshadows tend to slip off during the day. These colours stayed put though, and also didn’t change colour over the course of the day either.
Rouge Intense Suprême – Glam Celebration
I am a HUGE fan of Lise Watier’s lipsticks. They are super creamy and very pigmented. Her shade offerings are luxe and sophisticated too, with some of the best reds, berries and darks out there.
The Rouge Intense Supreme Glam Celebration collection is no different. Richly coloured, they are sexy and make a major impact! These lipsticks are also highly moisturizing which is great as my lips always tend to dry out this time of year.
All three are gorgeous – like they were made for my rich skin tone. That being said, they are flattering on everyone, and perfect for the holiday season!
Dramatique Intense So Lux Volume Mascara – Ultra Noir
If you are looking for a mascara to make your lashes look thick, full and a mile long, this mascara is for you. Lise Watier wasn’t kidding when she named this product “Dramatique Intense”! It made my lashes lush and sexy.
The formula is quite nice too. Doesn’t make lashes crusty or flaky, and the formula is intensely black. The brush is pretty great too, nabbing even the finest of eyelashes.
GLAM CELEBRATION Duo Blush
Ok. LOOK AT THIS BLUSH!!! How gorgeous is this?? In every way and on every level, this product is a standout. The top of the case is completely bejeweled in black and white rhinestones, so pulling it out of your bag is a treat.
The blush itself features a glittering cityscape, and the colours are lush! OMG. Seriously cannot get enough of this!
These two colours are great, with the darker tone being a healthy pink and the lighter pink gives cheeks a lit-from-within glow. I use the lighter shade as a highlighter, and the cool darker pink tone right on the apples of cheeks.
This blush is great for all skintones, and also offers a buildable finish for those a little scared of pink blushes. Wow – I love this one so much!
Eye Shine – Glam Celebration
Lise Watier’s Eye Shine eyeliners are soft and easy to apply. Their creamy formulation does not pull at delicate eyelids during application, and the colours are rich.
Pictured from top to bottom are Black Star, a rich black eyeliner that is easily smudgeable for pretty smoky eyes. Below it is Blue Star, a dramatic navy that is so flattering, I’ve been wearing it daily. Both have a pearly finish and are waterproof.
HAVANA TRIO HIGHLIGHTER
Last but not least is the pretty Havana Trio Highlighter. This trio is a perfect combination of shades to highlight, illuminate and give your skin a beautiful radiance. Subtle enough for any skintone, these three colours are very flattering. I also use all three as eyeshadows – hey, I love multitaskers!
The golden colour in particular brightens up winter skin in a really pretty, subtle and pearlescent way. No thick, chunky glitter here – very luxe.
