Beauty Products I’m Currently Loving

It’s officially fall and I am switching over some of my beauty products to fit the chillier temperatures. That being said, you’ll see that there a few summer favourites featured here that I’m not quite ready to let go of. Grab a cup of tea and let’s dig into the beauty products I’m currently loving and that you should check out too.

Giorgio Armani Light Di Gioia

Armani’s Light di Gioia Eau De Parfum ($140 CAD) was released earlier this year, right in time for the summer season. Light and refreshing, this perfume features lovely notes of gardenia and jasmine. Other notes include white musk, bergamot and woody scents.

It’s light, airy and perfect for those October days where you’d rather be on a beach in Positano than raking soggy leaves. Very feminine and floral.

Charlotte Tilbury Daytime On The Go

This exclusive online makeup kit ($140 CAD) by Queen Tilbury was released early in the summer and has proven to be the workhorse of my makeup collection.

This kit features:

Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder

This lightweight powder is the true star of this kit, banishing shine for hours on end. I toted it around with me during New York Fashion Week (read about my experience here), and it kept me looking fresh while rushing from show to show. Never looks cakey or ashy, and photographs really well (no ghostface in pics).

It’s brightening and hydrating thanks to the formula’s essential oil content, and is so finely milled, it feels like icing sugar.

The accompanying mini powder brush deposits just enough powder to your face including tricky areas like the cupid bow of your lips and around your nose. The bristles are synthetic, handle made of wood and is 100% cruelty free.

Magic Away Concealer

Sadly, I chose the wrong colour while ordering this kit, so I never used it. That being said, this formula is very creamy and applies well thanks to its sponge tip applicator.

Magic Away Concealer is offered in 16 different shades and supposedly is great for brightening skin and hiding any imperfections. I liked the concealer’s creaminess so much that I’m ordering another. Wish me luck!

Matte Revolution Lipstick in Red Carpet Red

This lipstick deserves an award, full stop. The line’s matte finish never leaves lips feeling dry and the pigmentation is second to none.

Furthermore, Red Carpet Red is one of those red lipsticks that is universally flattering, and deserves to be immortalized next to my other fave red lippies: MAC Cosmetics Ruby Woo, NARS Dragon Girl and Chanel Russian Red.

Lavanila Pure Vanilla Fragrance

OK!!! This is the vanilla perfume that I have been waiting for ever since The Body Shop inexplicably discontinued their perfect Vanilla Perfume Oil.

Lavanila Pure Vanilla Fragrance ($48 USD) has top notes of pure Madagascar vanilla, creamy tonka bean and heliotrope. It’s quite literally perfect. Feminine and light, it smells soft and elegant and never Rice Krispy Square-like.

Even better, Lavanila prides itself on making healthy, environmentally conscious products. My militant vegan and environmentalist sister will be proud. Still not letting her borrow it though. #BigSisterTraits

Tocca Florence Eau De Parfum

Can you tell I miss summer? I’m still wearing my favourite fresh, clean and citrusy scents that I wore in the summer, including this cult favourite, Tocca Florence Eau De Parfum ($100 CAD).

This EDP features clean notes of citrus, grapefruit leaf, bergamot, pear and apple. Middle notes include gardenia, violet, jasmine and tuberose. The bottom notes are all musk and white woody scents.

Each time I wear this green scent, people stop me to ask about it. It’s both unique, feminine and classic. I’m going to wear this as long as possible before switching to my winter favourite, Tom Ford Black Orchid. #drool

I have not tried any of your perfumes. My perfumes are homemade by friends; whose businesses I support.
But, I admire the decoration of your dressing table. It looks really chique.
    Hope you enjoy the Fall.

Great info and love your aesthetics. Armani fragrances are my fav. But looking for environmentally safe products too!
