Spring is well underway and it’s the perfect time to reflect on life’s happenings. I thought this would be a fun way to “take stock of my life” each season and share with you all. Enjoy!
Enjoying: taking some time for myself and saying “no” more
Listening: to my gut instinct always, my guiding force
Wearing: my new Pedro Garcia shoes. IN LOVE!!
Making: my garden magazine-worthy
Cooking: a roasted red pepper jam that is fabulous on lamb and flank steak
Drinking: a delicate sparkling wine
Feeling: excited about my sister-in-law’s wedding this summer
Reading: the June issue of Harper’s Bazaar
Looking: at the beautiful goldfinches at the feeders in my backyard
Wishing: that I took the summer off
Liking: new café Origin Trade. Just fantastic!
Waiting: to plant all the fun stuff I bought at my favourite garden centres
Snacking: on the amazing butter tarts my colleague made
Coveting: my neighbour’s Shitzhu puppy. The cuteness is unreal.
Hearing: a very loud person talk about something very boring
Learning: to use my camera – thanks for the lessons, Tracey!
Loving: the giant hugs I get from the hubby when he gets home from work – life giving
Watching: horror movies in my free time when not gardening, running, blogging
Admiring: my mom right now. She’s blossoming at 65!
Getting: excited for our trip to Upstate New York in July. R&R and great music – here we come!
Wondering: when I’ll get back to Paris
Playing: with my new, ill-advised bangs. Sigh. I’ll never learn.
Noticing: that running regularly really does make me happier
Giggling: at little inside jokes I share with my sisters
Bookmarking: Into the Gloss’ great interview with Stacy London
Deciding: on new blog themes
Hoping: for more hours in the day
Contemplating: tennis lessons
Wanting: this adorable off-the-shoulder dress from Club Monaco
Thinking: how I could smuggle a Shitzhu puppy into our house without anyone noticing
Knowing: that this summer is going to be great
Opening: the bag of Sephora goodies I got
Feeling: inspired
Marveling: at the Japanese Lilacs about to bloom in my city. So gorgeous!

The winged victory of Samothrace is my fav sculpture ever! ? I was a regular visitor to the Louvre when I lived in Paris and used to stand at the bottom of the staircase it’s on and just stare at it. ??

Inspiring! Often done but never to this degree! Muah!
Awesome post hun. You are a great writer and blogger! I simply adored this piece. Love the idea of shopping for Chanel in the Rue Cambon. Chanel is so chic and timeless. Beautiful, too.
