I have a little confession to make: I buy a lot of my clothing at Sears Canada. I call Sears Canada my “secret little fashion treasure trove”.
I’ve been scoring majorly at Sears as their new line of private label clothing is on point. From cute dresses to work wear that is chic and classic, it’s been my first stop during my recent shopping trips.
The Spring Capsule Wardrobe
My spring wardrobe has been in need of a bit of an overhaul. While I’m happy with my clothing overall, I wanted to add a few extra pieces to my spring capsule wardrobe.
I sat down, evaluated my current wants and decided that I *needed* a bomber jacket in a light colour, and a classic pleated skirt. Shopping list in hand, off I went!
As I’ll be heading to Europe soon, I need to watch my pennies too. With my champagne taste and beer budget (yuck), I made a mental note to not overspend but to buy the best quality clothing I could afford. After all, I’ll need all the money I can get to enjoy alllll the sangria in Spain!
My Sears Canada Fashion Haul
When I entered Sears Canada, I was thrilled to find the pleated skirt of my dreams (in two colours, no less) and the perfect springtime bomber. The black pleated skirt is so versatile, and the movement so pretty when I walk, that this piece will be a favourite for years to come.
The adorable bomber jacket looks great paired with the skirt to give the entire look a casual ease. I mean, look at those cuffs! I’ve also worn it with my white distressed skinnies for brunch and with my boyfriend jeans to hit up the garden centres. It also has an athleisure flair that I’m really loving right now.
In addition (I’m such a shopaholic), I scored these amazing lace-up flats! On my way out, I saw a camisole so great that I could easily wear it with every blazer and cardigan I own. Back to the cash register! I’ve managed to wear this perfect camisole a bunch of times already. In fact, I was so happy with that camisole, I went back and bought it in black, picked up the other pleated skirt in blush pink, a black sleeveless blazer and fuchsia pumps. Hey – I never said that I had a lot of restraint. I blame Sears Canada’s amazing spring collection.
What are you coveting for your spring wardrobe?
*A huge thank you to Sears Canada for the outfit in exchange for my honest opinion.
Wow, I’m surprised this look came from Sears. Looking so lovely in that jacket. And we’re both wearing blush on the blog right now!
