Guys – with all of the travelling I’m doing lately, this little Ventev Powercell USB Portable Battery Charger is saving my life.

I travel a lot with the hubby. Each year, we visit Vegas in the late spring with our best pals. I also get to tag along with the hubs on his far flung work trips to amazing international cities such as London, Paris, Lima, Sydney and the like.
With my blogging, I also take frequent weekend trips to Toronto for events and to visit my little sis, Erika. My trusty iPhone 6 Plus is my lifeline while I’m travelling. I’m totally addicted to it…period. When I see that its battery life dips below 20%, I have an anxiety attack.

Since I don’t have a laptop because I’m lame, I do a lot of my blogging and social media updates on my iPhone. This sucks up a ton of battery life and I find myself in situations where I’m searching desperately for an outlet for some charging love.
Case in point: last year at Toronto Men’s Fashion Week, I desperately looked around for an electrical outlet to charge Richard Roundtree (my phone) so that I could record my interview with menswear designer Cafferty Van Horne. I couldn’t find one. My phone died along with a little piece of my soul that night. While I managed to get a great interview, I would have had some better quotes if I had a recording.

I learned my lesson that night and sought out the best, most powerful portable charger out there so I wouldn’t be stuck in that situation again.
Through my research, I discovered that many portable chargers frankly sucked. Many were dinky, super cheap and pretty much caught fire while in use (true story – ask my sister-in-law). Other ones that were really highly rated were enormous and weighed a ton. The last thing I needed was to add weight to my beloved Alexander McQueen Heroine bag that weighs 9lbs empty.
When Ventev reached out to me and offered me the Powercell 3015 USB Portable Battery Charger, I breathed a sigh of relief, especially after reading up on its reviews. Light yet powerful, this slim little charger takes up virtually zero room in my purse. Score #1. It provides 12.5 hours of additional talk time and charges all USB-powered devices like my favourite earphones. Score #2.

It charges quickly too as opposed to other power banks that take an entire day to get juiced up. Score #3. I’m seriously loving this thing.
I’ll be packing my little Ventev lifesaver for this week’s trip to the inaugural Toronto Women’s Fashion Week. I’ll be seeing Rachel Sin, a fabulous Torontonian designer specializing in beautiful feminine designs for the “creative professional”. Stay tuned for tons of pics and video!
How do you stay charged up when you travel? If you are suffering from chronic “Deadphoneitis” – do me a favour and grab a Ventev Powercell. Check out Ventev and its offerings on Instagram and Facebook!
This would be a total lifesaver for me! I love the colors and it looks like it could hold up really well with my abuse! LOL!

Right??? I remember going out for dinner with a girlfriend who had a powerbank that could charge up to four phones simultaneously. I was like: “I NEED THIS.”
My husband bought me one of these months ago but I’ve never used it, maybe I should.

Ahaha! Atta girl, Maha! I have to say, it really has come in handy. I cannot believe how much use I’m getting out of it. I frankly don’t know how I managed before it. LOL!
I can’t live without my power pack. This looks pretty functional. Love your pictures.

I have been needing one of these for a long time! I’ve never been sure about which brand but this one seems perfect!
Well, I have a travel charger, but it’s kind of awkward sized. This one looks amazing–it’s so thin! It would be so much easier to carry around.

Hey Molly! It’s super light and handy…and half the size of my last one. Perfect in my book!
