I remember the last time I dropped my iPhone. It was my beloved iPhone 4S and I was juggling bags of groceries, my phone and my keys, trying to open my front door without putting anything down. In the blink of an eye, I dropped my beloved phone, and its sleek, fragile front shattered into a cobweb of broken glass. I groaned and cursed the poorly made yet extremely expensive excuse of a smartphone case that popped off and laid next to my iPhone, mocking me. THAT WAS IT. Then and there, I started my hunt for the perfect phone case that wasn’t hideous and bulky, but affordable at the same time.
When I eventually replaced my phone with an iPhone 6+ that cost the same as my iPad (ouch), I promised to take great care of her, but I was saddened to see that all of the great quality, super protective cases were also really ugly…and heavy…and seemed to be made of old tractor tires. On the other hand, the cute phone cases were flimsy and also expensive. No thanks. That’s where LuxBoxCase stepped in.
I was thrilled to see LuxBoxCase‘s selection of cool, modern and fresh designs, and immediately fell in love with the Chosen design. With its sleek, 100% real walnut veneer and brushed MacPro silver finish casing, it was exactly the clean look I was going for. I was a little over all of the cutesy phone cases out there, and finally found something I was proud to pull out of my bag.
It was also really light and thin, and didn’t add too much weight to my phone like other suspects named after really cute animals:
Another thing I love is the clean design of the front of the case! It pretty much mimics the exact finish of the iPhone 6+, something I missed looking at as it was always covered by the thick, bulky case I had before.
I’m thrilled with my new LuxBoxCase and love all the oohs and ahhs it elicits from friends! Best of all, it didn’t break the bank at $45.
If you are looking for a new cell case, be sure to check them out here. LuxBoxCase also offers a really cool woolen option that feels wonderful to the touch!

I had the hardest time finding a case for my iphone too. I ended going with a clear one that’s really compact. I hate the fugly Otter case! The walnut veneer design you chose is so sleek – actually, it looks like my current notebook:

Hey Bev! You won’t be disappointed! Everyone keeps asking where I got mine… Haha! xoxox
Really like that case! It’s so hard to find cases for smartphones capable of protecting them and still have a beautiful design… Great post 🙂
