About five years ago, I jumped around my opthamologist’s office in giddy happiness at the news that I needed glasses. I have always wanted glasses…the allure of the “sexy librarian”, “brainiac babe” and “pensive fashionista” looks greatly appealed to me.
As I happily accepted my prescription for corrective lenses for my very mild astigmatism (I told you – I really wanted glasses), I sped over to the optical store and picked out a pair of Gucci reading glasses. I’ve been wearing specs since I was 5! I have horrible eyesight courtesy of my father, and I spent a good part of my life trying to get out of them. Until I started having to pay for my own stuff. Now I just go for whichever is cheaper, which of course is neither. Lol great read though!

Beautiful glasses and would love a pair. I am far sighted and I too had the very small ones that I couldn’t see properly. Heard great things about Firmoo and the purple frames are so chic on you and matches your lipstick. By the way what color is your lipstick, have to purchase that color. It’s gorgeous.

Firmoo is indeed great. I’m thrilled with the quality of the frames I have (both eyeglasses and sunglasses) and you just can’t beat the prices. As for the lipstick, it’s MAC Cosmetics Lipstick in Touch, with Nyx Angel Food Cake lipgloss over it. Both colours are beautiful pinky nudes (the Touch is more on the brown side) that look very flattering on most skin tones. Go treat yo’self!

Ok, Im the only girl in a house with 5 boys!!! Hubby and 4 boys, and we all wear glasses OMG!!! They all get to be styled by mom with their eyewear, so it’s only fair I get a cool pair too!! I’ve been wearing them since tenth grade, but love a variety of eyewear due to my career of being a 3rd grade teacher too!! They are very vital to my every day needs, but being cute while doing it is important too!!! My hubby encouraged me to start a blog last year as well, loved reading your about me page…
