Well, another New York Fashion Week is about to come to a close, and as per usual, it did not disappoint. I had the chance to finally sit down and watch some of the shows last night live streaming from New York, and wanted to share some of my favourite looks.
If you haven’t already guessed, I love feminine, dreamy looks. The more lady-like, ultra-girly, covered in beads, sequins and embroidery…the better. That being said, I love myself a cool, edgy look too.
Here are some of my favourite looks from this year’s New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2016:
Badgley Mischka RTW Spring 2016
Marchesa RTW Spring 2016
Oscar de la Renta RTW Spring 2016
J.Crew RTW Spring 2016
Rag & Bone RTW Spring 2016
Anna Sui RTW Spring 2016

…and lastly, for your entertainment, one of my favourite compilations ever. Enjoy! LOL! So mean!
What are your favourite shows from this season’s NYFW 2015? Let me know in the comments!
xo,
Just gorgeous looks, a feast for the eyes! A lot of just fabulous sandals too.
I was at the edge of my seat everyday scrolling through Instagram and watching the live-streams of NYFW everyday AND let’s just say I was overwhelmed in the best way possible and couldn’t help but feast my eyes at all the fine detailing and craftmanship. I absolutely am in love with anything teal this season and that Oscar De La Renta cropped blazer, pencil skirt duo should be my bae and I can just call it a day haha. Also almost every piece from Badgley Mishcka was simply extraordinary; the cuts were my favorite. Amazing round up lovely!

Me too! Love the silvery butterflies on that dreamy blush-coloured dress!
love your picks! i find them so feminine, fitted and colourful, which I hope will be the upcoming trend- i’m getting a little tired of all the loose baggy clothes i see everywhere.

OMG – I was thinking the same thing. My husband even commented that he hated this “boyfriend tee” that all girls are wearing. Well, fashion is cyclical, so hoping fitted, feminine trends are around the corner…because I cannot buy one more square-shaped dress! Thanks so much for reading! xoxox
Wow I love the pink blush shades and golds so pretty and chic xxx

Thank you, Rachel! One of these years, I’m going to get to NYFW!! Dream of mine to see a runway show of this calibre!!
Ahhh I know! That would be so incredible! 😀 xx
What a beautiful compilation you’ve got going on here… So many beautiful soft shades and classically feminine silhouettes. I really feel like this fashion week allowed women to wear the fashion, rather than the styles completely eclipsing the body. I know the industry likes it the other way around, & I completely understand why, but I’ve always thought that the *best* fashion is a partnership between the clothing and the wearer (because we’re not just coat hangers, right?!). 🙂
I’m especially loving Oscar’s beautiful green nipped-waist number, that diaphanous white and yellow Marchesa creation, and that one-shouldered frock from Badgley Mischka. So appreciating all the defined waistlines. 🙂

Ashley – you hit the nail on the head. I love fashion as art – crazy couture dress and strange designs I find interesting. Stunning, wearable, high-quality clothing is just fantastic though. I’m also totally over these giant, “boyfriend-inspired” fashions. Loved the nipped Oscar outfit too – clothing like that is exactly what I want to wear. I watch episodes of Madmen from the first few seasons and absolutely salivate over the fashion!! Can’t wait for these feminine styles to take over! Thanks so much for reading – have a wonderful Saturday! xo
