2015 was the year for me to take stock of my wardrobe with a coldhearted, take-no-prisoners approach. Whatever didn’t “spark joy” in me, I quickly unhung, folded up and marched straight to Goodwill.
I no longer have any worn out duds, too-big clothing, too-small clothing, stained clothing, broken accessories, stuff that was cool ten years ago, etc., thus paving the way to more stress-free mornings without worrying about wading through a closet of ho-hum clothing.
Ridding my closet of all this dead weight (also selling a lot of it) allowed me to take stock and acquire what I needed – good quality basics, jeans that fit perfectly, some good blazers, fine underpinnings and some jewelry that makes my heart flutter.

I did the exact same thing last year and it nearly took me days to sort out my closet and wardrobe accordingly; BUT it was probably one of the best decisions I had EVER made. Currently, I’m adding more classics and quality to my wardrobe (my discount at BCBG Maxazria definitely plays a vital role in that 😉 ) and getting my Indian clothes, jewelery and saree’s organized. Haha the joys of being South Indian … although it is fun to have two entirely different wardrobes to look at whenever I’m feeling like a failure haha! (Please tell me I’m not the only one who feels heart warmth by staring at her closet eeeeek!)

I’m totally loving and envious of all your gorgeous wide brim hats, that Pink Tartan sweater, that LBD with fringe that was $40?! WHAT and oh my gosh pretty much everything haha.
