Well, I finally did it. I created the Style Domination Relaxed Hair Society on Facebook! The group is live so feel free to join immediately!
This is a forum for those with relaxed hair to share tips, tricks, their hair journeys and seek advice from one another. I didn’t think that there were too many of us relaxed peeps left, but I’ve been overjoyed/overwhelmed with the positive response!

Feel free to join here by clicking this link: Style Domination Relaxed Hair Society . All you have to do is answer three simple questions and you’re good to go!
Thank you all in advance for joining. I love seeing this community grow! And I cannot thank you all enough for your support. It means the world!
Yay! I have been wanting to see this. When looking for healthy relaxed hair groups, channels, blogs it has been scarce. Much love

Ahh Samantha! Thrilled to have you join the community! Your kind comments are very appreciated. I definitely have the classiest group of supporters out there.
So happy to join the community. Just starting my journey. I can no longer depend on beautician to save me. I have already seen positive results applied the principles and products you suggested. Thanks and will continue to follow.

Hi Cassandra! I am so happy to have you as part of the community! Sorry to read about the beautician. Have you considered relaxing at home by yourself? Maybe enlisting a friend or family member to help you? Keep on following indeed. Lots of great tips and product suggestions are already being shared in the group.
Trying times because of coronavirus, what can I do at home if I’m due for a relaxer.

Hi There! I would focus on keeping the new growth soft and manageable with lots of deep conditioning and moisturizing and sealing. I like to use Luster’s S Curl Curl Activating Moisturizer on my new growth, followed by sealing with either jojoba or almond oil. You can also try relaxing on your own, but be sure to follow the instructions carefully and wash thoroughly with neutralizing shampoo! Hope that helps!
Thank you!

You’re welcome!
What blow dryer method do you use, what brush, blowdryer and heat protectant? Thank you!
Author
HI Kym! I don’t have a method per se. I almost always air dry my hair. If airdrying takes too long, I will then grab my hair dryer (really like dryers by Dyson and t3 Micro – more gentle), and blow dry on cool where needed. I don’t use a brush…I did use a round brush when I used to have bangs a couple of years ago. Heat protectants I use are Tresemmé Heat Protectant spray, Indigo Lustre Gloss Spray Serum (contains no dyes, alcohols, oils, etc). and Kérastase Resistance Blow-Dry Primer for Damaged Hair (apply to damp/almost dry hair). Good luck!
Am about to start my relaxed hair jounery again, I say again because each time I get hair relaxed, it is nice and beautiful for the first month or so, and than the breakage starts….
This is my 3 try,
Please help
Thanks
How many years will it take to achieve such a length of relaxed hair? I am no where near shoulder length and don’t apply much products to my hair. Just the normal routine wash day and moisturizing

That’s not a question I can answer. Hair growth all depends on your genetics, your current health, your hair care routine, etc.
