When I went to Paris and popped into a little apothecary for some lip balm, I discovered Le Petit Marsellais Extra Gentle Shower Creme. One of my favourite things to do in life is check out drugstores and grocery stores in other countries to see what goodies I can’t get here in my motherland of Canada. Well, this apothecary delivered.
Le Petit Marsellais’ White Peach and Nectarine shower creme smelled lovely, so I treated myself and didn’t think much of it until the following morning.
OMG. Not only did it smell incredible (fresh white peaches are heaven), it was so softening and moisturizing…I couldn’t get over it. I really love body washes. I love how they rinse cleanly and their ease of use (mushy bars of soap gross me out). They also lather damn well which makes me pretty happy. But when doesn’t millions of bubbles put a smile on your face?
Like I mentioned, this shower cream was hella moisturizing. So much so, that I didn’t have to overdo it with my moisturizer afterwards. Paris was in the middle of a crazy heat wave too, so its light, clean scent was refreshing.
Later that day, I ran back to the little apothecary and stocked up. The cashier laughed and said: “You Amereeeecans. You love theeees savon.” I agreed (and then let her know I was Canadian). She told me of her relatives back in Québec City and how atrocious poutine was. We both laughed when I mentioned that Canadians tried to elevate the dish by adding foie gras. After this fun little exchange, I hopped on over to the Louvre to take in some Monet. That was a great day.
Have you tried this bomb shower creme? The Lavender Honey and Orange Blossom scents are really nice too. Be sure to check them out now that they have landed on our side of the pond!
I love the packaging and the scents sound amazing! I want to try them!

For the price, they are particularly incredible. I had a high-end shower gel that cost $45 that wasn’t as good as these! Let me know how you like them!
