Fruits & Passion holds a special place in my heart. Why? Because I worked there during university. That little part-time job helped me afford my $200 art history textbooks and bus passes to the Carleton University campus. This is exactly why a huge smile spread across my face when they contacted me for a collaboration. I happily said yes to this review.
I will always associate Fruits & Passion’s Orange Cantaloup line with my first condo. I was obsessed with this fruity, refreshing fragrance while working at their boutique, and fully stocked my condo’s bathrooms with the Orange Cantaloup soaps, creams and bath salts (SO GOOD). But – more on this fragrant line in an upcoming post.
Fruits & Passion was kind enough to send me a box of goodies and you better trust me when I say I delighted in opening it. It was laden with maple candies! Honestly – the way to my heart is with maple candies. I hungrily stuffed my face with them while unwrapping all of the delicious goodies.
Before I get into the review, I want to highlight my favourite part of this line: it’s infused with olive oil! Yes. Wonderfully hydrating and moisturizing olive oil.
Fruits & Passion Maple Frost Hand Soap
This hand soap is lovely!! It smells so good – its blend of maple sap, brown sugar, vanilla and musk make for an intoxicating scent that isn’t overwhelming.
Since this soap is formulated with olive oil, it doesn’t leave your hands feeling stripped which is great, because I have been washing my hands non-stop since getting my puppy.
The bottle is really nice too! Looks lovely on the bathroom counter. Best of all, it’s reusable and the soap itself is biodegradable. Treat yourself to the 1 litre refill bottle of hand soap to prolong the life of your reusable bottle and cut down on waste.
Fruits & Passion Maple Frost Nourishing Hand Butter
With washing my hands constantly due to Reese’s endless flow of puppy slobber, comes the dryness. Fruits & Passion Maple Frost Nourishing Hand Butter is a saviour. It’s rich and thick, just the way I like my hand creams.
Also infused with olive oil, this hand butter instantly gets rid of dryness and really helped my ragged, winter cuticles. Pro-tip: since this line smells so darn good with its notes of maple syrup, warm brown sugar, musk and rose notes, I use this on my decolleté and arms as a sort of perfume.
Fruits & Passion Maple Frost Gourmet Gift Set
I think it’s safe to say that this is my favourite of the box of goodies Fruits & Passion sent my way! Consisting of the awesome Maple Frost Hand Soap, this goodie box also includes an assortment of Québecois treats like maple syrup, maple spread and maple jelly. I went through the maple syrup and spread in about three seconds flat. I’m hanging onto the maple jelly for a special occasion like “Thursday” – lol.
Fruits & Passion Maple Frost Perfumed Candle
A lovely little candle which smells lightly of maple sugar, rose and jasmine. This candle’s throw is great, lightly scenting an entire room quickly, and the frosted clear glass looks modern and clean. It’s taken up residence next to our soaker tub in our ensuite bathroom. Perfect to set the mood for a nice bubble bath before bed.
Just so you know, this candle is handmade of plant-based wax, not tested on animals and made with ingredients that are non-animal derived. Its vase is also made of recycled glass and made in Canada. In fact, all Fruits & Passion’s products are made in Canada, and animal-friendly. All packaging is either recycled or recyclable also. Way to go, Fruits & Passion!
So, all this maple-talk has me jonesing for a visit to my nearest sugar bush. Be sure to try out this limited edition, seasonal line from Fruits & Passion and let me know what you think!
*A huge thank you to Fruits & Passion for providing these samples in exchange for my honest opinion.
I’ll have to try those. I enjoy products that are plant based and recyclable or made from recycled materials, plus they smell and look pretty. Thank you for the tips Lady!
