For my second instalment of #FeatureFriday, I’ll be shining the spotlight on Hawa. A Guinean-born, Ottawa-based lifestyle blogger, Hawa is known for A) her stunning beauty, B) killer sense of style and C) friendly, sweet personality. A real triple threat!
I have been dying to meet Hawa in person for a long time now, especially after stalking her killer Instagram, but our busy lifestyles keep getting in the way. A student very focused on her studies, Hawa manages to let her chic, sexy and classic style shine through on her blog, Hawita Love.
Hawa’s top five beauty picks:
Sephora Teint Infusion Foundation
A friend showed it to me over the holidays and I have been wearing it ever since. It is so lightweight and lets your skin shine through (a thing I look for in daily foundations), but also by using more of product, you can build up the coverage.
Dose of Colors Matte Lipstick
The best matte lipstick formula I have come across! They last all day and have a high colour payoff. Great for when you will be out all day and don’t have time to reapply your makeup.
Ardell Accent Lashes
I love wearing fake eyelashes because it helps to accentuate the eyes. Some fake lashes can be a little too dramatic for day wear, but not these. They are small and are meant to accentuate the outer corner of your eyes to give you perfect, big, bright eyes.
Vaseline
I love my lips to be baby smooth all day everyday especially when wearing matte lipstick. Dry chapped lips is a big no no!
Oh…and a little extra use for your Vaseline? After highlighting your eyebrows with concealer, you can apply some Vaseline (to the outline) then remove it with a tissue. The Vaseline will remove the excess concealer and you will be left with natural yet perfect eyebrows.
