Leanne’s Questions
1.Who is your favourite fashion designer?
I love Alexander McQueen. His original designs were haunting, ethereal, unique and unlike anything I’d ever seen before. A true visionary, his death left a huge whole in the fashion industry. In fact, the picture seen on the left of my blog page is an Alexander McQueen creation which I included in my blog design in honour of him.
2. What is your favorite fashion accessory?
My favourite fashion accessories, hands down, are designer handbags. They are totally my kryptonite.
The last book I read was The Londoners. I picked it up while in Paris and while a fantastic read, it has taken me over a year to read it!
4. What is your favorite skin care product for winter weather?
My favourite skin care product for winter is a good moisturizer. A new one that I’m absolutely loving is Estée Lauder Day Wear Advanced Multi Protection Anti-Oxidant Creme, which is a relatively new addition to my beauty arsenal. A fantastic discovery. A review to be posted soon!
5. What is your favorite makeup brand?
Oh jeez…too many to count. I’m loving ColourPop Cosmetics right now and love myself some Chanel. I really love eyeshadows from Makeup Forever, lipsticks from MAC Cosmetics…there’s just too many.
6. What did you eat for lunch today?
A smoky butternut squash soup I made. I added a few chili and chipotle peppers for a little spice!
7. What is one goal you have for your blog?
One goal I have for my blog this year is to post a little bit more about beauty! The last few months were so busy with fashion-related things that I feel I neglected that area a bit.
8. What would you do if you won the lottery?
Funny you should ask…check it out! After my initial heart attack from learning I’d won, I’d put my plans in motion!
9. Who is your favorite actor?
Oh – Meryl Streep. She’s fantastic. I love everything Meryl is in. Her portrayal as editrix Miranda Priestly in the Devil Wears Prada though just slayyyyyyyyed me DEAD. Check her out in She-Devil too. It may not have been an Oscar contender, but her playing off of Roseanne Barr makes for one of my favourite movies of all time.
10. Where would you most like to travel to?
Right now, Thailand.

If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, who would it be, past or present? Rachel McAdams, love her! All around classy woman!
Which celebrity’s style influences your look? I’m not sure who influences me most because I would say it’s a mix of different celebrity outfits that I’ve loved. I did a Jessica Alba inspired outfit in the spring!
What is your favourite magazine? InStyle, just because that’s what I had my last subscription on!
If you could drop everything and travel anywhere, where would you go? Japan, I want their sushi so bad.
What makeup would you buy if you received a $100 giftcard to Sephora? Like one, maybe two things LOL let’s be honest! I would probably get the Hourglass Edit Palette and with my leftover 20 bucks? I can’t even think of what’s worth 20 bucks at Sephora.
Lipstick or mascara? LIPSTICK. I carry 5 different lip products with me at all times, like a crazy person.
