I love to be cozy, ok? Being cozy is normally my #1 priority. That’s why you’ll see me sitting in my cubicle wearing two grandpa sweaters (why are all offices freezing?), or curled up on the couch “burrito’ed up” in a soft blanket.
Living in a country with a seemingly endless winter and fleeting summer, I make it a priority to stay warm at all times.
While I’m a diehard summer lover, I have to admit that I love when fall rolls around. Fall fashion to me, is the best. It’s all warm, luxe fabrics, rich and deep tones and coziness left, right and centre. I’m down…very down for all of that.
Aritzia is generally my store of choice when I’m hankering for new clothes. They just “get me”, you know? I was lured into Aritzia by a table full of soft, sumptuous sweaters. This one in a soft, dusty navy spoke to me in particular. “You need me! Your credit card thinks so too…” I grabbed this Plutarch Sweater and marched to the cashier while rubbing my face into the soft alpaca-blend wool. Sigh.
During our visit to Toronto, the weather took a nosedive. We wanted to walk around and see some sights, so I’m glad I found this sweater to ward of the mid-November chill. I threw on my black Topshop Jamie Jeans and added this adorable little Aldo Telawen Bag. That bag is really the winner of this whole outfit. The gold satin, the cute jewels and its perfect size (not too big, not too small) really upped this casual outfit’s cool factor.
All snuggly and cozy in my new favourite sweater, I enjoyed brunch at our hotel, navigated the crowds at Ripley’s Aquarium, and did some shopping on Bloor Street. I was comfortable, warm, snuggly – you name it. Allll the cozy adjectives!
What’s your fave cozy outfit?
*A huge thank you to Aldo for providing the Telawen Bag in exchange for my honest opinion.
