I think it’s hilarious how naturally straight-haired girls are desperate for curly hair and naturally curly-haired girls pine for straight hair. Having straight hair my whole life, I’ve always loved the look of curls and curl my own hair frequently using curling irons, flat irons (for beachy waves) and sometimes I even go old-school and pop a few curlers in.

When Conair sent me the Curl Secret Infiniti Pro to review, I have to admit, I was pretty darn excited…mainly because I absolutely love gadgets. Mixing gadgetry with my other love – haircare – and my heart was sent aflutter.

You’ve probably seen the Curl Secret advertised on tv – I most certainly had. The advertisements promise gorgeous, no-fuss curls by feeding sections of hair into the Curl Secret where it magically is curled without burning your fingers, all while speeding up the whole styling process.

So, I got to curling with the Curl Secret and I loved it. It was really fun using this little curling machine. Just watching it operate was a blast! I went ahead and filmed a YouTube video showing the results and giving my thoughts on the product, so feel free to give it a watch to see review. Don’t forget to like & subscribe to my channel!

I can tell you right now that the Curl Secret heats up really quickly taking around 30 seconds to be ready for use. It has two heat settings – low and high, and it also gives you the option to curl hair for 8, 10 or 12 seconds at a time.  It also has a “tangle-free feature” – so don’t be worried about your hair getting mauled by the apparatus.  It’s got your back! It has automatic shut-off after 60 minutes of no use, and after 20 minutes of no use, it enters sleep mode, and then “wakes up” once it’s picked up again thanks to its motion sensor.

I was pretty pleased with this fun little gadget as it really does produce beautiful, ringlet like curls. I was after my signature beachy waves, so I combed out my hair directly after curling to loosen the ringlets. Really loved the finished product!

My American friends can buy the Curl Secret online by visiting the Conair website, and us Canadians can find locations where it is sold at

It definitely added some great curls to your hair, but I guess I thought the curls would be tighter. That’s how the product makes it look in all the commercials for it. Still, a quick curl is a good idea!

Hi Cheryl! Oh – it definitely makes tight curls!!! I put it on the lowest setting and lowest heat though. If you up the heat and up it to 12 seconds, you are gonna get some Shirley Temple curls!! xo

Love how companies are trying to create new and innovative products. This product seems to create loose waves which is great for summer!

Thank you! I agree! It’s nice to see a little innovation in a beauty area where we think we’ve seen it all! I was impressed at the tight ringlets the Curl Secret could also create! xo

I LOVE the messy look you accomplished with this curler! I think I would need to wait until my hair gets a little longer so I don’t end up looking like Annie!!! LOL

Love it! I know that there are other ways to achieve the same curl but this looks fun :)! Great video, I wouldn’t have known how it worked without looking at the video. Beautiful smile and lovely hair!
